Ciopinot is my top pick for seafood in SLO county! Don’t be put off that it’s not by the ocean, the fish could not be fresher. Every menu item I have tasted there has been outstanding. The ambiance manages to be both casual and elegant at the same time. As Greg mentioned above,there is no charge for corkage OR for splitting plates…which is so generous. Save room for the Creme Brulee for dessert…it’s worth it!

We love Ciopinot! Lenord and his staff go out of the way to accommodate…even so far as to provide a birthday candle in a pinch. Honest to goodness hospitality. Food? Excellent. Best cioppino I’ve had.

Ciopinot and Lenord Cohen, great combination and the restaurant is a constant recommendation of mine to visitors. The no corkage fee is a crowd pleaser.

The Horizon Hike was a confirmation why the Edna Valley wine region is such a gem. We learned how the unique soils of ancient sea bed and volcanic residue, lime stone and red clay in combination with the coastal influence create an ideal growing region for premium wine grapes. Relaxing poolside post-hike with a glass of Rose was heaven! Sign me up for next year!

I have eaten at Giuseppe’s many times and it is one of my favorite places to go to enjoy great food, friends, and wine (hopefully Tolosa). The service at Giuseppe’s is by far the best anywhere. I personally know this “waiter extraodrinaire”, Jason, it always amazes me how well his memory is. I am always looking forward to my next trip to Giuseppe’s.
