SLO Triathlon: Team Tolosa
The 29th Annual SLO Triathlon took place on Sunday July 27th, 2008 and this year Tolosa made it's debut as the first "winery" teams to compete! The race consist of 0.5 miles of swim, 15.3 miles of biking, and 3.1 miles of running. One team was made up of three; Kamee Knutson, Assistant Winemaker for Courtside Cellars, was our swimmer, Larry Brooks, Tolosa Winemaker, was our bicyclist, and Tami Carija, Sales & Marketing Director, was our runner. Jon Goodier, our National Sales Manager, also competed in the triathlon as a solo act. The teams did an amazing job with Knutson/Brooks/Carija completing in 1:32:40 and Jon Goodier completing in 1:40. The most important part was we all had fun and we are looking forward to entering more teams for Tolosa in the years to come!
