Veraison in the vineyards is a time when the grape clusters begin the process of ripening and color change. Once veraison begins, the clusters and berries on the vine remain at a constant size, which gives winemakers great insight into what to expect for the upcoming harvest. In this video, Winemaker Larry Brooks explains the process from Tolosa's Pinot Noir block 593.
  •  Leafing: View the process called leafing in the Tolosa vineyards.
This process is used to help promote heathly clusters by exposing them to morning sun. Watch this short video to see the process, as Winemaker Larry Brooks narrates.
