"My first wine club is Tolosa, I'm so proud to say. Been here three times now, and I'm still amazed by the grounds, the facilities, the people, the wines. Ah, the wines. I fell in love with no-oak chardonnay at Tolosa. Now, I can't go back. But, as I was saying, from the moment you walk up to the front door, you'll be struck by the exquisite taste of the place, from the oversize metallic front door, to low lights and Riedel tasting glasses.
The people are super-friendly and helpful, and patient, despite a typical gathering around the tasting counter. I've always left with a bottle of NOC, merlot (yes, merlot), and syrah. Other favorites, though I don't always buy them, include pinot noir and a superb viognier. It's the overall that pushes Tolosa above its geographic competitors. Do yourself a favor and make this your first wine club, too."

"This is my favorite winery in SLO. I just joined the wine club which, for us locals, is a great deal because they have a pick up party with appetizers and free wine and you don't have to pay for shipping. Then you get free tastings for yourself and 4 guests and 20% off all wine purchases.
They just started a summer wine and cheese pairing on Saturdays and they have done a spectacular job pairing. I have never appreciated pairing before this. They get most of their cheeses fresh from Monterey St. YUM.
The patio is great for buying some cheese and salami and sidling up to the wine, er, man you love... My fav right now is the 2005 Pinot Noir.Cool stuff: Inside is a view into their warehouse, and outside is a pretty cool map of where all the different grapes grow in the area. Neat."

"Our experience at Tolosa is the best! The wine club 'pick-up' parties are so comfortable and social. It's like one big family! The food is great and the vino is better. "

"In the heart of the Edna Valley, one finds a Winery with panocha and good tasting wine. Visit the tasting room and you find a modern and inviting place to spend time relaxing and enjoying some of the best wines that California has to offer. The staff is always gracious and ready to serve or answer any questions that one might have. Their wine club, which I am a member, offers local residents an opportunity to be introduced to quality wines at a reasonable price, in an atmosphere that is warm, friendly, and makes one want to come back to visit again. While there are many good wineries in San Luis Obispo County, you don't want to miss visiting Tolosa; your expectations will be met."
