Salaal Vineyard

While this vineyard sits on flat terrain which normally is not that great for fine wine, I attribute the excellence of the Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc that we get from here to the subsoil. It is my guess that there must be an old creek bed under the top soils that drain parts of this vineyard. Year in and year out blocks 683 and 684 provide our best Syrah.
