Policies

Scheduled Billing and Ship Months:

Subscription orders will process the 2nd Monday (on the 2nd Tuesday if the Monday is a holiday) in the months of February, April, *June, *August, October and December and ship out (weather permitting) the following week.  You will then receive an email with tracking information to follow your shipment’s journey to its final destination.
*Some June and August shipments will be on weather hold and released when weather permits to assure the safety of your wine during transport.

Ground Shipping Rates

Rates may vary by zone, temperature control methods such as addition of ice or Temp Control truck transportation, and carrier type.

Summer Shipment Delays and Precautions:

Due to fires, hurricanes, high temperatures, and other unforeseen natural disasters, a weather hold may be placed on shipments going to affected areas. We want to make sure your wine arrives safely. Temperatures above 90 degrees, even with ice packs, put the safety of your wine at risk. If at any time during a weather hold you wish to provide us with an alternate address or expedite your shipment by upgrading to FedEx 2-day or Overnight shipping, we are happy to assist you with these arrangements. You may also add ice or request Temp Control delivery options. Additional rates may apply.

Redirect, reship and restock fees may apply to shipments that are returned to the winery after unsuccessful delivery attempts.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states except AR, MI, RI and UT. Please note that all wineries hold different licensing and permits for direct shipping out of state. There are select states where Tolosa can only ship three-tier, where we do not hold a direct shipping license (DE, ID, MI, MT, OH and RI). For these states, please understand that your shipment may take up to 2 weeks for delivery. This is due to state regulations, which causes the winery to use a third party for fulfillment.

Tolosa uses Safe Haven Wine Services out of Paso Robles, California for three-tier state fulfillment. If you are shipping to one of the states listed above, please note that Tolosa will run a charge for the wine and tax only. You will have separate charge on your credit card from Safe Haven Wine Services for shipping and handling.

Cancellation Policy

The Tolosa Direct subscription will continue until canceled by you. You may discontinue or pause your membership at any time by emailing Director of Wine Clubs brittney@tolosawinery.com. You will be charged every other month in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December for the wines selected in your profile, plus shipping and applicable tax. Information on upcoming wine shipments and pricing are available on our website. Your sign-up form submission verifies you are over 21 and authorizes Tolosa to charge your credit card for wine shipments, including any shipping costs if your shipment is returned to the winery.
