1772 Rose 2020
Tolosa’s 1772 Rosé is a dash of Pinot Noir elegance exhibiting a light color, and body, but packed with enticing fruit and a laser-sharp freshness. The flavor of the grapes developed early, so we were able to pick at a lower brix. Our Rosé program is entirely based on direct to press to achieve a delicate color. The 2020 vintage produced a mouthwatering Rosé that is dangerously enjoyable.
Notes and Pairing Suggestion from Bob Bath, MS:
"There are many roses on the market, most of them easy drinking and very pleasant. This is a serious rose, produced from grapes grown in one of our coolest vineyards and purposely picked early. Don’t let the light color of this rose fool you, there is plenty going on in this wine. An abundance of fruit notes including strawberry, tangerine, nectarine, lime and cranberry along with a lively mouthfeel give this wine the option of being fun to drink by itself or paired with food. To fully appreciate this wine over the next year, try it with this lovely bouillabaisse recipe."
