Solomon Hills Pinot Noir
Solomon Hills Vineyard takes its name from Salomon Pico, a celebrated bandit who travelled frequently along the El Camino Real in the 1850’s—and may have inspired the legend of Zorro. Because this vineyard is located at the westernmost end of the Santa Maria Valley AVA and 13 miles from the Pacific Ocean, there is a significant maritime influence resulting in cool temperatures and sea breezes.
Cherry in color with a purple rim. Aromas of cranberries, cinnamon spice, roasted marshmallows and fresh cut cedar wood. Flavors of ripe juicy cherries, cola, pine resin, wet cedar and forest floor. Enjoy the bright acidity and the long finish of this wine.
